About The Artwork

'A Point of View' This is a highly textured 12" x 12" acrylic abstract painted on a 1.5" deep gallery wrapped canvas.

I often work intuitively and begin with random strokes and gestural mark-making. In this painting my initial marks and layers are hidden beneath many more layers. I came back to this painting many times, painting over layer after layer - and in the process I created amazing depth and impasto textures. These textures are an integral part of this painting. I am left with a painting with organic structure and sculptural interest.

I want the viewer to feel the energy and spontaneity I felt while painting this - and to enjoy the many small details as well as the whole.

This painting, signed on the back, is ready to hang with wire attached and will be securely packaged and shipped to ensure safe delivery.  It also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
