About The Artwork

'At The Fair' is a heavily textured acrylic painting on a 140lb sheet of Arches rough press watercolour paper. It measures 29.5" x 21.5" with a 1/4" white border suitable for framing.

I often work intuitively and begin with random mark-making. This painting began this way as well. Several painting sessions followed building texture and interest with a colourful palette and a wide variety of brushstrokes.

I want the viewer to feel the energy and spontaneity I felt while painting this - and to enjoy the many small details as well as the whole.

This painting is signed on the back and will be securely packaged and shipped in a box to ensure safe delivery.
