About The Artwork

'FRENCH VANILLA' is a textured acrylic painting on a 140 lb sheet of Arches hot press watercolour paper. It measures 11.75"w x 13.25"h with a 1/3" white border suitable for framing.

This painting began with a velvet matte black background. Overlapping layers of warm white were gently brushed and scumbled across the surface creating a rich impasto texture. Light touches of silver were then added to add more visual interest and complete this composition.

I want the viewer to feel the energy and spontaneity I felt while painting this - and to enjoy the many small details as well as the whole.

This painting is signed on the back and will be securely packaged and shipped in a box to ensure safe delivery.
