About The Artwork

'Glory Days' is a heavily textured mixed media acrylic painting on a 140 lb sheet of Arches cold press watercolour paper. It measures 19.5"w x 15.5"h with a 1/4" white border suitable for framing.

I often work intuitively and begin with random mark-making. This painting began this way as well. Several painting sessions followed working with some of my collage pieces. These have been embedded in the painting adding interest and texture to the composition and also creating and a bit of whimsy.

I want the viewer to feel the energy and spontaneity I felt while painting this - and to enjoy the many small details as well as the whole.

This painting is signed on the back and will be securely packaged and shipped in a box to ensure safe delivery.
