About The Artwork

'In The Pink' is a heavily textured acrylic painting on a 156 lb sheet of Arches hot press watercolour paper. It measures 22.75"w x 30.75"h with a 1/2" border suitable for framing.

I often work intuitively and begin with random mark-making. This painting began this way as well - and many painting sessions followed. Some collage pieces from my collection were added to complete the composition and add lots of visual interest and texture.

I want the viewer to feel the energy and spontaneity I felt while painting this - and to enjoy the many small details as well as the whole.

This painting is signed on the back and will be securely packaged and shipped in a box to ensure safe delivery.
