About The Artwork

'Little Bird' is a heavily textured acrylic painting on a 156 lb sheet of Arches hot press watercolour paper. It measures 12.5" x 24.5" with a 1/2" white border suitable for framing.

I often work intuitively and begin with random mark-making. This painting began this way as well and several painting sessions followed building up texture and creating some visual interest.

I want the viewer to feel the energy and spontaneity I felt while painting this - and to enjoy the many small details as well as the whole.

This painting is signed on the back and will be securely packaged and shipped in a box to ensure safe delivery.
