About The Artwork

'Moonlight Roses' is a 16"x16" mixed media painting combining an archival digital giclée printed on Arches 140lb cotton watercolour paper which has been mounted on a cradled wooden panel and embellished with a thick transparent layer of acrylic. A final addition of warmly tinted oil and cold wax medium has been added and then buffed to a durable satin sheen. This final layer adds a rich inviting warmth to the colours and the surface.

A bowl has been a frequent subject in my art. This painting includes one of my oil paintings brought into my computer and worked on digitally over several sessions. Some vintage botanicals have been digitally layered in creating some visual interest and adding to the strength of the composition.

I want the viewer to feel the energy and spontaneity I felt while creating this - and to enjoy the many small details as well as the whole.

This painting is signed on the back and will be securely packaged and shipped in a box to ensure safe delivery.
