About The Artwork

'Tree of Dreams' is a heavily textured acrylic painting on a 140 lb sheet of Arches rough press watercolour paper. It measures 22.5"w x 30"h and is painted right to the deckled edge. It can be framed either in a floating frame showing the deckled edges or with a mat.

I often work intuitively and begin with random mark-making. This painting began this way as well - and several painting sessions followed. I scumbled over the rough surface with a dry brush and built up lots of interesting texture with bold impasto brushstrokes.

I want the viewer to feel the energy and spontaneity I felt while painting this - and to enjoy the many small details as well as the whole.

This painting is signed on the back and will be securely packaged and shipped in a box to ensure safe delivery.
