About The Artwork

'Black Beauty' is a textured acrylic painting on a 156 lb sheet of Arches hot press watercolour paper. It measures 17.75"w x 23.75"h.

This painting began with some gentle brushstrokes of vivid magenta and orange scumbled over a sheet of Arches watercolour paper. A layer of warm black was then pushed across the surface creating a bold hard edged impasto texture.

I want the viewer to feel the energy and spontaneity I felt while painting this - and to enjoy the many small details as well as the whole.

This painting is signed on the back and will be securely packaged and shipped in a box to ensure safe delivery.
