'THE AMUSEMENT PARK' is a textured acrylic painting on a 156 lb sheet of Arches hot press watercolour paper. It measures 18.75"w x 14.75"h with a 1/2" border all around for framing.

I often work intuitively and begin with lots of random strokes and gestural mark-making. This painting began this way as well - but these marks are now completely hidden below several layers of impasto acrylic brushstrokes, paint splatters, drips and some scribbles carved into the wet paint.

I want the viewer to feel the energy and spontaneity I felt while painting this - and to enjoy the many small details as well as the whole.

This painting is signed on the back and will be securely packaged and shipped in a box to ensure safe delivery.
