'The View From Here' Is a very highly textured 20" x 20" acrylic abstract painted on a 1.5" deep gallery wrapped canvas.

I often work intuitively and begin with random strokes and gestural mark-making. In this painting my initial marks and layers are hidden beneath many more layers. I came back to this painting many times, painting over layer after layer - and in the process I created amazing depth and impasto textures. These textures are an integral part of this painting.

I want the viewer to feel the energy and spontaneity I felt while painting this - and to enjoy the many small details as well as the whole.

This painting is signed on the back and will be securely packaged and shipped in a box to ensure safe delivery.
